Learn Egyptian Hieroglyphs
This program has been designed for middle and high school students, and is a great way for kids to get exposed to Egyptian Hieroglyphs. This is a six-session series and will be held online during the summer. All proceeds go to charity.

Chosen Charity: We Care CharityAbout We Care Charity: This non-profit organization provides food and clothing to people in need. Based in MA and NH, they have feeding programs at eighteen shelters, four soup kitchens, and two children's homes. They are driven entirely by donations. I chose this charity in part because they are providing resources in my two home states, but also because they are tackling food insecurity, which is a serious problem that affects people wold-wide, including MA and NH.

2. Alphabet Part 1: Reading and Writing
- Learn how to read and write the Hieroglyph alphabet

3. Grammar: Word Order
- Learn the structure of Egyptian sentences and practice writing by yourself
- Build up vocabulary

- Start forming more complex Hieroglyph sentences by learning about present tense and past tense verb forms
- Build up vocabulary
5. Alphabet Part 2: Biliterals
- Introduction to biliterals: one symbol that represents two letters
- Use these biliterals to form new words and better sentences
- Build up vocabulary
6. Grammar: Pronouns
- Learn about suffix pronouns and how to use them in sentences
- Build up vocabulary
